How come your 03 225q cuts power in the 130s? As said Im pretty sure the stock electronic limiter is at 155. Ive had mine up to 140s and it was still going but ran out of room, the cars in the distance got closer fast.

stock, governed:

130 for the 180 (regularly hit the limit)
145 for the 225 (hit the limit on a few occasions)
160 might be euro specs, dunno.

 

stock tt 225q is 155 via personal experience

 

Hmm, wonder what was up with my car then....

 

My car will soon do 852 mph.

 

This is from a brochure for the 2002 ALMS Commemorative Edition TT, which is the same mechanically as a normal 225QC...

"TOP SPEED: Electronically limited to 143 mph (230 kmh) for North America"

I've verified this a couple of times...
