what year was the G35, the newer models have increased the horsepower.. Theres the 270ish hp version and the 295ish hp version

 

I'm not sure on the year honestly. I'm assuming an older one, it was for sure auto

 

hey i can second killin a G35. I was at a light and an all black G35 pulled up revin his engine at me, i was a little embarrassed cuz it looked like he just waxed his car and i was on my way to the car wash, mine was all dirty. lol. well any ways i launched perfectly and i distroyed him by like 2 car lengths.

 

we raced our friends '06 G35 from the line and took him, but then at about a 20-25mph roll we didn't do as well. Damn automatics can stay at the lower gear verses manual its pointless to be in 1st cuz the turbo is already spooled all the way, oh but when i get mine chipped....Game Over!!!!![:@]

 

I think the one I raced was older, however I've raced 2 G35's ....I ate both of them for breakfast...I dont understand how some of these G35's are being marked as such fast cars....


Speaking of fast, I turned my chip off (upgraded ecu) ....drove it in stock mode.... holycrap this car is slow! ....This chip made a WORLD of difference.

 

I have raced a G35 on the 1/8mile track when I was stock, it was a manual im pretty sure that it was stock also. I ran a 9.8 He ended up running a 10.2. He told me that, that time was the best time that he has ever gotten. So deffinatly the 225 model can beat them. 180 im not sure.

 

a 180TT couldn't be a stock G35...the 180tt is slow as ***** without a chip.

I dont know to what extent of hp gains i get from my exhaust...however ...the chip makes a DRAMATIC change.


with a chip, i've rocked a couple tt's that are not only quattro...but 225 (they were stock)



So....if your lucky enough to have a 225.... GET A CHIP!
