Default Auto window not working

Ok I finally bit the bullet and bought the $300 window motor (grrrrrrrrrrr) and installed it. It works fine except that now the one touch function doesn't work. Does it need to be installed fully up or down or something like that?

Thanks for your help!

press and hold the window down button until the window is all the way down and then lift and press down again. Then do the same going up. It should work after that. If not, do it again

Thanks for the response!

Ok let me make sure I got this right. I push the button until it goes all the way down. Then I lift what? I tried it a number of different ways. What am I not getting?

Thanks,
Inibalir

you have to let go of pushing down and then press down again for about a sec and then go to the top and let go and then press the window up for about a sec again.

I love the search function!
I've been having this issue with my 01 coupe recently. The driver's side window auto open/close was not working...you had to hold the switch up or down. I did a search and saw this technique....
I tried this and it worked like a charm...all good now. Maybe it "lost" it's memory when the battery went dead???
Thanks guys!
