RWD is still the best but in snow its hard but I still love it, FWD is just different but good as well but not as good as 4x4 but that's life

It's a given that we all know not all TT's are quattro. I may be new but I'm not retarded. I do research before I buy a car.[:@]

You guys answered my questions, my response was to GSTERELY. Thank you for your help. i'll make sure I always say AWD even though most people don't know there is a difference, but it sounds better than 4 wheel drive... or something IMO

The TT Quattro is AWD, the stock Haldex controller sends 80% torque to front, 20% to rear wheels when slip is sensed.
No.

Haldex can transfer up to 50% torque depending on the difference it senses between axle input and output. Your Haldex "Blue" and "Orange" controllers just eliminate the need for slip and make it constantly transfer greater power to the rear.

An A4 Quattro is a "more true" AWD system with more or less equal torque to front and rear.
Torsen in A4's and the likes just keeps an even split constantly. Haldex and Torsen both have open front and rear diff's and use electronic differential lock to distribute torque. I.E. they distribute torque the same under slip, but Torsen keeps the 50/50 constantly.

So really there is no reason to get a "blue" or "orange" controller unless you were serious into auto x. But for drag racing or just on the street it really isnt that importat because the stock haldex controller can send up to 50percent to the rear wheels? Is this what your saying?
