01 TTq 130k miles. Got codes for bad maf and o2 sensor, replaced both to no avail. Now what is gettin me confused is if i plug the maf in the car will spit and sputter at idle and cut out giving it gas then die when the rpms settle back after reving it BUT if i leave the maf unplugged the car runs perfect. so in my eyes it has to be the maf right? even tho its a brand new one actually the 2nd new one in two weeks.

 

Autozone scans the codes and it gives you MAF, O2 or Vacuum leak as far as their generic check goes for a tt .. My check engine light was on, and I just noticed one of the vacuum valves was brittle and split open, and you could hear it hissing. Hopefully my light will stay out now that I got a generic valve and made it fit.
