my car has been boosting weird lately, it will boost about 9-10 psi then on the next pull boost 12psi, then yesterday it spiked to 15 then i let off, it still pulls fine n idles normal, but if im cruising at 2800 rpm on the interstate n step on it without downshifting (jst to pass a truck or someone etc...) it would spool right up to 10-12 psi now sometimes it wont go past 5 or itll spool rly slow, recently i put a bigger spectre filter (autozone filter) and i had to move it about 3 inches farther away from my maf to clear my breather filter, i doubt tht has anything to do with it (i hve a p-flo intake btw) but thought id mention it jst incase, any ideas?

 

Just sounds like changes in load. If you are really concerned, run a host leak test and search for exhaust leaks

 

like exhaust leak at the downpipe, or the manifold?

 

Any connection between the head and downpipe
