some poor bastard on here talked about putting the s line decals on his TT and torn a new ******* by people saying "it's not a S line TT".

i agree to a certain degree BUT with the mods etc. i don't see a problem with someone making a "replica", if u know what i mean.

that badging will look clean as hell. i wish i had a black TT :-(

Lol, I think that was me. I would love to pull it up and read it again. people got pretty nasty. But that was when my car was new(to me)and I was kicking around ideas. I think now people are starting to trust my taste a little more. Oh and when it comes down to washing it, Ill trade my black for your red any day.

Meh. It'll look good, sure, but putting an RS badge on a car that's not an RS is no better than what people who put Type-R badges on D series civics do. Badges are for identification, they're not just there because they "look good." I like how the A4 badge looks...it's an Audi badge...and I know my car isn't an A4...but it's faster than one, so it's cool to put it there right?

Were getting a little extreme here. THE only problem I have with badging is as follows: Ive seen an "S6" badge on a 3.0 A6 and a S4 badge on a 2.8 A4. That is a little sad...the only people who know the difference between an A6 and a S6 (or an A4 and a S4) are enthusiasts; who are they trying to impress here? When it comes to the RS badge on the TT, I think it's a little more acceptable because it looks pretty sporty as is. Plus, that RS badge pictured earlier hasnt come stock on any car I've ever seen (i think) so it's original. I like it.

so far, I would say the overall response has been good. I think it would be different if there were such a thing as an MKI TTRS. Like these dorks with a 3 series BMW with M3 badges on it. Its not really trying to impersonate or front. It is what it is. Like a sweet-*** frickin unicorn(only not as gay).

NEGATIVE, its better. If for no other reason than its not a civic. Now that being said, if I put TYPE R badges on my car, I would expect to be stoned to death(and not the good stoned).
