Car is 2000 225 cab. Broke down this morning, wouldn't start after journey. Breakdown came out and said battery dead chatged and it drove about 1o miles then broke down again. Red battery light up on speedo and yellow battery light on centre dashpod. Left on side of road. Battery is original so figure thats it but is it likely to be anything else? Would battery die so quick or is it that'sit's not charging from alternator. How easy to check or shouldI change battery first and see?
Also anyone know how to find out radio code before I disconnect battery?

Change the Battery... 8 years old is old enough.

If you are less than 12.5V at rest (nothing on) the ECU and Cluster don't work properly.
