Default before mods... please help...

ok... this problem is bothering me, so i have to ask. before continuing with upgrades, i want to make my car run almost like new with stock everything.
Problem:
When turning steering wheel, over 80%, either way there is a knock coming from one or both the front wheels. whenbacking out of an inclineddrive way it will make it even ifI turn it only30%. If isteerreally slow it doesn't do it.

+++ my car is still not alligned(pulls right on the freeway) altgough the dealership said they did do it + myrotation, but i think its bulls.h.i.t. all they did was they fixed the steering wheel so it doesn't have to stay turned to the left to go straight... once i drove on the freeway i felt it...i was stupid notto go back...
Question:
Should i have someone steer and listen more exactly where the noise is coming from or one of youalready knows what i should do? Can i align my quattro tt somewhere else but the audi place?
(no more $260)

my cv boots are fine, not leaking yet... could it be my tie rod ends?... inner or outer?... or strut ends?(the things you can see on the right and left when you pop the hood?...

Your CVC's can still be bad if the boot isnt torn, if the owner before you tore theirs and let it run low on grease then just traded it in, im guessing they would just put new boots on to save money. Grab ahold and give it a few good shakes and see if you hear any knocking or feel any movement,if you do then they are bad. Also like was stated check your tie rod ends.

lift it up, and shake/move every suspension component you can, in just about any direction you can. Don't drop the car on your head.

When you get an alignment, make sure they give you a print out of the before and after numbers for the alignment, so you're certain you're not being screwed. Best place (but still not real good) for me to get my car aligned is the local Ford dealer actually. Anywhere that offers 4 wheel alignments should be able to get thru it, but remember that they may not know your car as well as they should, and/or may not have the tooling to get the car within spec. so talk to them thoroughly first.

I appreciatethe help i get from everybody here, and thanks for reading my post.
I am not the first one with this issue and although you see it as a small thing, trust me it sounds like my wheel is gonna fall off when i pull out of anywhere...

The Nissan Dealership does mine, but the have a sport and import section. I know the guy up there really well, and he worked on Vdubs for along time before the Nissan guys offered him more money. Just gota find those guys you trust with your car.
