Bentley Repair Manual CD-ROM vs softcover
ok so here is my dilemma, i donot know if the CD rom is better than thesoft cover.
is the cd rom jsut a scanned copy of thesoft cover?
it sz that thesoftcover book is : A massive 978 Pages! With 1826 photos, illustrations and diagrams
the cd rom comes with : This CD-ROM will also include the new eBahn Version 3.0. A highlight of eBahn 3.0 is the new DTC Xpress, a highly interactive Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) search engine & interpreter. Other new features include an enhanced user interface, and support for technical content updates
decisions decisions !!!! [&o]

With the CD you get free automatic updates...
Plus you can put it on a laptop with your vag-com; for an all inclusive portable TT guide!
It's what I plan on doing, eventually.

Go with the CD. The softcover is nice for shops, but wear and tear (and oily fingers) will consume your manual quicker than the digitial information stored on your comp. Free updates too!.. Plus, with a CD you can make me a free pirated copy!

Hey, I figure they're selling off limit-less copies of duplicated information for big bucks...what's one freebee? Didn't they make enough money selling their manuals for $100 to every European repair shop in the world? I would feel as bad about recieveing a copy as I would hitting 120mph on the freeway... both are "illegal"..sorta.
