what air intake should i buy and where? are there issues with water getting into the engine?

i got the Neuspeed air intake system from ttstuff.com and i love it.Itaround $225 i think.

I am an owner of a car wash, i was my car 7 days a week and the filter has never gotten a drop of water on it. I have also driven it in heavy rain storms and had no problems...

I am happy with Neuspeed also. Look around, you should be able to find offers of free shipping, which can save you upwards of $20.

The evoms v-flow is probably one of the better intakes you can get for the 1.8t.
It's a bit pricey though and not really worth it unless you're heavily modified. Intake really should be one of the last things you do. Unless you gotta have that sound.

From everything I've read, a drop in filter is more enough until you start getting a decentlist of mods you've done.

$25 filter from advance auto, the APC one that comes unoiled, it has the oil with it so you oil it yourself or not oil it at all like I did

Have the Neuspeed intake as weel, easy to replace the OEM box, easy maintance, no problems at all.
