I'm getting a Blueflame (least I hope so) exhaust & didn't know if I should get their cat or any others. What ones are there & who has them? Any problems?

 

The best cat is NO cat, and thats what I'm running!

 

all quattro's have dual cats, so you really cant replace them unless you change the downpipe also. i dont think changing out the cat for a high flow will make that big of a difference.

 

yeah....go no cat....i;ll be doing the catless 42 draft 3in with the special bung for no CEL....

 

if remove the cat, will the car fail smog check inspection?

So would a 42 draft high flow cat pass inspection & not throw on my CEL? Cause I plan on buying their test pipe & just switching it out every inspection. & why should I be working about the CEL coming on when all I'm changing is the exhaust?

 

a hfc SHOULD pass emmisions
a cel is about all that can happen from a dp change due to a BELOW CAT EFFIENCY code (which doest hinder performance)

 

Ahh... the only good thing about South Carolina, no emmisions

 

No-cat is the only way to go!
