Default Best way of speed shiftinf in AWD

So I can't seem to find the best way to speed shift in my 01 Audi TT or really I cant just drive. Im so use to myPorsche 928 S4 throwing the gears and the tires spinning.. When I throw it in 2nd really fast the synchro catches other then that its fine. When I do shift it seems like I lose time. When I run against other cars you can tell that I lose time and the other car catches up. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks

Maybe switching to a short shifter would help you. Personally, I don't care what car I'm driving as long as it's a performance car, it's all about the driver knowing the car and when to shift but even with my stock clutch, I am pretty quick with the gears but to me, it's something I can feel without looking down. But again, it's all on the driver

you need to shift into 2nd at no more than 5k to not have a problem, plus you really dont have much more power after that in 1st anyways. Plus you can flat shift so you dont slow down. I love shifting and my bov never opens, its fun!

disclaimer: THIS ADDS SOME STRESS TO THE CLUTCH AND SHOULDNT BE DONE DAILY.

I'm a newbie when it comes to Audi's. I'm a porsche 944 Turbo kind of guy until I had to get rid of it.
I don't mean to be nosey but how many Porsches do you have!?!

I dont know what it is either. Im assuming while your still pressing the gas, quickly hit the clutch and shift at the same time!! I would like to know what it is as well

Yes, flat shifting is when you are still on the gas. you need to press the clutch and shift fast so you dont rev up and if you do it fast enough your dv/bov will not open. You will leave an equal car far behind you that is still shifting normally.
