After speaking with the rep from renn-art thy have a 2871r kit....3" dp 440cc injectors Tuning software for 3300.00 Atp intake is 399.00 so total is 3700.00 for should be pretty much the same kit as del rio without the giac....Im going to see if i can deduct the price of their tuning and get my own giac program..Should easy get me over the 300whp mark

 

I smell eliminator, mika tunning andgreen top injectors, if so i would pass on all three. Im not sure what sucks more, the turbo, tuning, or injectors.... I GUESS ITS A TIE

 

WEll the turbo is an .86 Housing 2871r the same as delrio kit.... If they will take $$ off for the tuning i can buy the giac software from giac and they will use the 500.I paid already towards the software. Prob is...i emailed giac and they em,ailed me back saying. We don't offer Del Rio Power software for the older 2001 TT 225s. Whats up wit that ??? So i have to check the cpu number either by Vag or by pulling it out to see if its compatiblae if it is i can buy their software.

 

you have a non vvt and most sw tuners have an easier time with the vvt cars. I know for the vw and 180 crowd that the vvt are wideband cars with larger ecu storage were as the non vvt cars are narrowband with small ecu storage.

So what manifold and varient of the 2871r are they using?

 

ID be buying Custom Intake Via gedpower.com Its gt2871r .86 AR. Injectors im not sure... Butwhat is the isue with the gren tops? R people havign isues with them supplying fuel?Well del rio makes the big turbo kit for the 2001 TT and it obviousely includes software,....so im wondering why they say it may not work...So would the delrio kit not work in giac tune on my non vvt engine...i thought alll the 2001's were non vvt

 

You would have to point that out to a giac dealer. If it is available for the del rio kit its available for you.

As for the injectors, check out here, the spray pattern is not good for the car,

Thats the email i got back from giac... ?? Im curious as to why they say that baout the 2001...when ive read of at least 3 people on this board and others that have 2001 225's running the del rio package with giac software.

The only person i have seen run the del rio kit is a 02 alms TT
