Default Bilstein PSS9 adjustment question

Okay, to those of you with Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, which direction do I turn the **** on the front shocks to firm up the dampening (setting 1)? The rears have numbers and arrows on the dial but the fronts have a rubber bootycovering the *****. I'm figuring I don't need to pry the booties off (which are on tight) if I can know if I turn the ***** clockwise or counterclockwise to reach level 1 on the fronts.

BTW, after putting the PSS9s on the car last week its been a phenomenal improvement. Set at 5 all around the ride is firm, yet very, very smooth. More comfortable than stock, but the handling is superb. I'll be on the track next week to really see what the car is capable of with the new suspension.
