I know what you mean. When I got into that wreck I was kinda mad because it was a hit and run, but happy at the same time because I had the carfor 2 years and needed something new. Insurance tool full care of it too. Something to be said about State Farm.

Your accident in the above pics was a hitand run? LOL were you the one who hit and ran? That picture does not look like a hit and run....you rear ended someone and they left? that make no sense please clarify lol.

 

Cruising70 on a highway to go pick up my gf, I was in the left lane of a 4 lane highway. The guy was coming off an entrance ramp to the freeway, cuts over 4 lanes of pretty heavy traffic barely missing the 18 wheeler I was next to and passing. Pulls right out in front of me and I didn't have time to react. I never saw him comingI had litterally about a quarter of second. I tried to swerve which you can see by the slightly angled impact. The guy took off and sped up weaving in and out of traffic. I tried to get him but my little bimmer wouldn't do it. I stopped and called the police and he never even hit the brakes. It was an old beater of a truck, silver, and that's all I got. Come on does it look like I could have taken off? My car wouldn't even start.

 

So you hit a guy (and it looks like it was pretty hard) and he kept going?He probably had a warrant out on him or somthing.

 

There's a lot of Hispanic people in DFW that do that kind of thing all day everyday. I'mnot being racist, but the statistics are there to support it. They usually don't have insurance or a driver's license. That would be an instant ticket to jail here. From what I remember it did look kinda like a work truck, maybe a painter's truck. It was just an s10 like pickup nothing huge. The police ruled it his fault and the insurance gave me no grief about it.

 

I see that alot on rt287 over here. more in NJ than ny.
