ok i went to check up on it again...

i found was the 'cup' , 1 nut and very fine metal shards and shavings... hmm..

i stuck my finger into the damage hole in my coilover and felt somthing loose. sounds funny but it's not a very funny situation

 

I'd be on the phone with Vmaxx

Call and see about getting a replacement.

I wouldn't mention hitting a bump at all, sounds like normal driving anyway and that's just another excuse they will use.

besides, the bump shouldn't have been the problem. it's my daily driver. i go through that bump/groove in the road at the same speed as all the other cars, 5 times a week.

so i can negate that area being the cause. and there are alot worse bumps out there than that~

 

and thar she goes on her trek back home

PASSENGER SIDE (stress cracks in the center bolt):

 

Ahhhh...the TT being towed away on a flat bed. How many times have I seen that sight before.....

 

The driver side pic (4th from the top) looks like the nut is stripped. On the passenger side it looks like you only have a couple threads engaged on the nut. When I had my stockers in and now with my bilsteins the top of the strut threads all the way through the nut and there are 5 threads or so coming out the top. Maybe you didn't tighten them down enough. Or maybe your coilovers just have a shorter threaded section at the top.
