i got a boost gauge. what would it say? how do i know. i know i peak at 21psi but it just stutters when i hit that. and i'm between 18 and 20 vac side at ideal but if i'm off the gas in a gear it's closer to 25 on the vac side. also how would i know if my car isn't likeing the forge 004??

^ ahh yes... 18-20 hg vac on idle sounds about right... pushing at about ~20 psi... the numbers sound right.

i'm assuming it's a vac. leak if it's the Forge 004. they've been notorious for their valves not staying fully closed at idle~

boosting FROM idle, as in studdering when throttling it? or just in idle?

throttling = boost leak.

@ idle = vac. leak.

best way to check is to drop in the DV and see if you're seeing the same problems. if not, then you can single out the 004 as the problem. if you ARE, then you have a leak somewhere~

DV flutter maybe? Are there adjustable springs in the 004 like the others? Maybe you need a stronger spring.

i've heard of adjusting the 004 but i don't see how. it's a dual piston BOV. any1 know about the forge 004.

^ i've ran one, and yes the springs are swappable. Cincy is notorious for using one = probably best bet to ask. try the DV and see if you're seeing the same problems.

well i was way off. it was the coil packs. lol. i do have a leak somewhere tho. my boy at the shop said it's not a big leak so he'll try to find it sat or sun. i'm using gti coils till my new ones come in. he said it's best to order all of them cus they usally all go bad. i hope that is why i was geting a p1136 but for some reason i bet that is another issue.
