I've been looking around for a good exhaust kit and so far i've seen one that looks worth it. The borla exhaust. For 750 dollars new, its not too bad. i wasreally looking for a used one.The B&B exhaust is simply too expensive although it sounds great.

Anyone have the Borla exhuast? How does it sound and what kind ofhpcould I expect? I'm pretty new to the world of tuner and custom parts, what else is a good upgrade that will get the most for the money?

does the borla gives you more horsepower? any website that shows how much you gain? is it even woth the $600

I've heard that most of them give you around a 15hp boost. I know the blueflame does for sure.It says on the website. I would estimate anywhere between a 10-15hp increase for the Borla. Thats what most people have reported.

How does the neuspeed sound? I've never heard of this one before.

 

^ heh. dont believe those numbers. exhausts (cat-backs) hardly give you ~5hp gains on the TT's, no matter 180/225. now if it's a full exhaust (down-pipe & test-pipe/hi-flow cats), that should give you the correct +15hp ~ +20hp gains.


the neuspeed is pretty decent at first. but after i welded on a straight-pipe to where the resonator was, wow sounds awesome. in the lower RPM range, it has the boxer engine rumble and screams at higher rpms. looks great too.if you have a 180 TT Quattro,you wont be disappointed~

How much would a cat-back exhaust cost with the full downpipe ect. I would like to do that and get the most of it.
