So the move is done. All i can say is it was a long and tireing ordeal. My car was loaded down with me, the GF, large 32" tube TV, all my cookware, clothes, and other odds and ends i could fit in the car. The car was loaded with above 500lbs in weight, so much infact that the old warn out stock suspension would creak from a standstill. The car also averaged 33mpg (did the math along with the cluster) on the 740mi trip. This included 80mph crusing (mostly, here father and brother keep making me slow down and then increase speed, so that didnt help mpg) through the hills of KY and TN and also the last 40mi were on local roads that had some good stop and go driving. Not bad for all the added weight and the increase in displacement. Just gives all the people bashing my route to tuning the car something they can shove in their own face since it makes tons of power, runs strong, and smooth as can be with my hpbc mbc (even with 300wtq on tap instantly). So haters can hate, ill just defy all of them and do what they cant!

And to all of those that sent me PM's, if i didnt appologize for a late responce, i tried to log on to answer all messages as often as i could.

As for the new place, it has taken up all my time to get it up and livable. No one has lived here in close to a year (foreclosed) and it needed tons of attention both inside and out. All i can say, it is turning out to be a great place to live.

Glad to hear you are back and the drive wasn't too bad. Good luck with the new place...now that you're settled in somewhat I will let IM's comence.

Edit: LOL, just looked at that picture...reminds me of my drive from WI to Vegas in the ex's Beetle. Rear view mirrors are for wimps [sm=shades.gif]

For some reason the pic wont post in the thread but does work, screwy. I still have the second oil change of reg oil in my car and it has ~1100 miles on it now and it needs out of my car asap. I still need to replace my oil drain pan and stands since there was no room for them on the haul.

 

For some reason I get the feeling you'll be taking on a 2.2T project very soon...

I know [:@]. Its a older Samsung HDTV that will get replaced with a 40-50" flat screen when the funds come back. I just hate rebuying stuff that i couldnt fit. Good thing stands are pretty cheap, to bad the nearest harbor frieght is about 20-25mi away

 

What part of Florida did you move to? I am in Fort Myers.
