Brake dust and rotor rust problems
i have noticed that the Audi rims get very dirty quickly from the brake dust. Is there anything that can be sprayed on the wheels to decrease this problem?
Also, is there anything one can put on the rotors to stop rust stains?

Ceramic and kevlar pads do produce less dust. I used PBR creamic pads and love them to death.
I know a few others use EBC red stuff pads which they also rave about.

As for your rotors... I'm pretty sure that's just oxidation and the pads clean that off when you brake.
There is rotor cleaner, mostly used after installing new rotors to remove fingerprints and grease.
You can get that at a local parts store.

so wheel cleaner with teflon will help keep the wheels cleaner until you get some new low dust performance pads. And unless you dont drive/park outside where it rains, you will always get little rust spots on the rotors. Like becca said, it comes off after you brake a few times.
I just bought the Dupont Teflon cleaner and it does clean really well. It works a lot better than the other I had so the wheel cleaners are not all created equal.
It says its supposed to stay cleaner but not sure it does. I spray this tire shine stuff and think its dripping tire residue down on the rims now.
I almost bought the Armor All cleaner on a recommendation on here but didn't because I was never impressed with their dash protectant when in FL where the sun cracked dashes like eggs.
I knew Dupont was a great stock so decided to try their product (kind of reverse of theWarren Buffetmethod).

who was that? That was funny as hell when it was posted
I use the armor all wheel cleaner and it works wonders. Better than anything else i've tried and it's available anywhere. Too bad I have to clean the wheels every 3 days to keep them looking nice.
