alright, I'll go to the dealer for the fluid, thanks. I wasn't using that tool, I was using a universal caliper tool that I got from Napa. But as long as I can turn the piston with it I don't see the need for the special audi tool, am I right?

I'm not sure if the tool you are using would work. The pitch of the worm gear thing could be wrong. You could be pushing more then turning, if this makes sence.

k, i don't know exactly what you mean by worm gear but ive never taken a caliper apart. If anything i think i am turning more than pushing, this tool may be the key to getting the caliper to compress though. im now inclined to think that the caliper is working because my new rotors had a machine finish that is rubbing off evenly with the rest of the brakes. i think ill try ordering this tool before ordering a new caliper

small thought, may be stupid but heck, make sure you dont have your ebrake on while your doing this...

yeah, ebrake is off but not completely disconnected from the caliper

i had the same exact trouble.. and almost gave up.. me and my friends just couldnt turn it any more.. so what i ended up doing was went counter clock wise to the point where i had some fluid burst out... than i went clockwise again.. and it went straight in!!!
