Default Broken door handle inside

My driver side handle is broken from the inside, not the actual handle that opens the door but the one you would pull on to shut the door once you're in. I've taken off the silver circle and found the screw, screwed it in as far as I can go and it just does the same thing. Does anybody recommend any quick fixes without me having to take off my door handle? Maybe some lock tight or something?

Are you saying the screw is stripped? What does "it just does the same thing" mean?

I have almost the same problem, but mine is the owner before me had a small dog that chewed up my handles so I need to get new ones, this is the closest thing I have found other than going to a junkyard...

It just keeps getting pulled back out. I dont think the screw is stripped but maybe the thing its screwing into. And I had to valet my car all weekend and the bastards kept breaking it and breaking it after I repeatedly told them not to use it.

I wouldnt even know what to take a pic of, I can't even see anything inside the door without taking it off. I'm gonna try some locktight and see if that works unless anybody else has any ideas.

not an uncommon problem due to excess handle force so chances are the plastic lug is broken off and a new handle will be required
