Hey guys, my '98 B5 died on me recently (R.I.P. baby ) and I was in the market for some more lovely German engineering. I was looking at an '01 TT with 172k miles and an '01 A4 with 135k miles. Any advice or general info about these 2 cars and any potential issues I could run into would be fantastic, as my b5 died at 139k miles so I don't know what to expect from these 2 as I haven't made it there yet ! I have a 2000 Audi TT and it has been fantastic to drive. However my car only has 40,000 miles on it and I do have an electrical issue that I need to get worked out but I don't imagine it costing more than $400 to fix. So ultimately a dream to drive. Reliability pretty good. Maint. is expensive as is all German cars. No major issues but again the milage plays a major roll.

 

Also the backseat is a joke. Don't plan on putting anyone back there. There isn't a chance in hell 4 people could fit in the car. The most I have ever gotten is 3 and it took some serious persuasion.
