I've been thinking about it for a while.

I can't drive AWD and have fun.

I love the TT, and If I could have it for a DD I would, but it's not exactly a beater.

My plans call for a dodge colt beater for the summer while i'm working on the datsun, then when I save up enough money i'll be buying a ragged out s2000 to drop an LSx into as my next project.

Then when the S is drivable it will be Eclipse GS-t drivetrain into the colt. And a jeep for a beater just in time for winter.

I've got a couple buddies who each built turbo'ed Mirages (similar to Colts, as you prolly know). One was a 2 door, the other was a 4 door EVO clone with authentic JDM body panels from Jhot.com. Both had 14b external gate turbos, EMS/SAFC, suspension, etc. The 4 door got traded straight up for a white Conquest, and the same kid now hasa Mirage hatch that is getting the drivetrain from a 1G DSM under it, followed by a turbo'ed 1.8 (which is surprisingly similar to a 2.0 4G63)
