Default change plates

Hi guys,

I have noticed that most of you guys are from the states but I have a question concerning british plates if anyone knows.

I have regular british plates on my TT but I read somewhere that in order to get into France I will need a sticker that specifies that the plates i carry are british. Since I don't wanna put a sticker on my bumper I thought of changing plates and getting the new euro plates. Then it will have the GB sign on the plate.

My question is: Do you know the procedure of changing plates? Do I just buy them on the net and install them since I don't change the registration number or do I need to follow another route?

Thanks

Just go to your local/ motor factor and get the plates made up as desired, they will do prety much anything without paperwork, especially if you take the car with you.

kinda off topic here but do any of you euro dudes have any old spare euro plates lying around? like ones from your old cars?

ive got a set of new jersey plates from my old GTI that i never sent back to NJDMV, and i would love to trade someone for a set.

it would be fun just to have them.

and you euro guys KNOW you want a set of dirty jersey plates =)

^^ That's funny. A lot of us have euro plates...

I wonder how many people over there have US plates on their "imported" american cars?
