hey guys j/w is this a good deal? I am looking at buying a TT, and this guy is selling it to me for $10,900 with the ko4 turbo kit and borla exhaust, it really nice this about 100k miles on it ?? What do ya think..

 

Sounds about right, maybe a little high for being modded+having that many miles. Quattro, right?

Definitely shop around and read all the FAQ's you can get your hands/eyes on. I bought my 2000 TT without reading up too much and ended up with a lemon. I ended up spending $5k more just resurrecting it. After I bought it, I had to replace the radiator fan, had an engine leak fixed, replaced the whole timing belt/water pump system, new tires, etc etc... I thought I had a deal for $13k but after all I've spent, I could've ordered a later model with more power from ebay and had it shipped to hawaii for roughly the same amount of money.

I gotta learn to be patient.

 

ok cool .. thanks guys, and one more thing, the guy says it akes about 280hp does that sound right as well and how much is that ko4 kit to install?

 

If it is chipped 225 TT, it's about 260HP.
also, 225 TT stock Turbo is ko4 (i assume)
6 speed with dual exhaust = 225 TT
5 speed with single exhaust = 180 TT
