Chime does not work

Chime does not work
I just bought a used 2001 TT and the door chimes don't work. They don't work when the key is left in, lights are left on or when I exceed the pre-set speed limit. Anyone have any clues?
I have tried to read up on the fuses, but there is no fuse listed for the door chime.
