Default Chip octane question

I'm thinking of getting a chip for my 225 and I see they all have like a 93 octane standard program. Here in Washington we're cool and only have 92 octane. Is this one octane point difference anything to be concerned about or is it negligible?

there is a big differnce between 91 and 93. There is only one company that sells 92 here and the rest sell 93. I think you could go either/or but a 91 chip would be safer to run

I'll probably go with the APR one, through Achtuning. It's not too far from where my house.

I live in Sammamish Smecker and I run Revo's 93 program w/o any issues. I bought the car in Jan 07 and chipped it 3 weeks later. No issues to report so far and it's a daily driver.

I think the difference in programing is timing advance. I think since you are continously running 92oct, i bet you have a extra degree or two pulled from the lower octane. Just a thought

...or you could get a custom 92 octane program made. Not sure if you really feel like doing something like that though. But I guess it'd be an option. lol
