Default Chipped?

Ok So I was putting in all my new parts and I pulled the ECU tonight to send itout in the morning to get it chipped at Stratmosphere. Well when I FINALLY got the wiper arms off I got the ECU out and then I noticed a little sticker right below the factory sticker said "GIAC equipped off road use only"

Does anyone know where I can find a Dyno graph for the GIAC it is odd that they don't have one on their site, which is one reason I looked past when deciding on what tune to get not much in they way of numbers put out by them?

The tuneI wanted is here
http://www.oct-tuning.com/shop/catal...ge.php?pID=149

I like the up front flat torque which is good for AutoX (basically it didn't have the highest numbers but did have the most fastest)

so I am back to looking for a Dyno graph of the GIAC 180tt Prefer Quattro if anyone knows where to find one.

also I know GIAC has the hand held controller that I could get and maybe get an new version and dosent the hand unit allow more input like boost control and such... (their site is down when I am typing this) does anyone have this and how do they like it?

and yes a boost guage is one of the things I am in the process of putting in this week in my spare time. So I want to try to get some figures so when I get it in and see whatI am actually boosting I can decide where to go.

thanks guys

dont think your going to find a 180q dyno for any chip. But you should be around 160awhp and 200tq. Knowing giac, you should be 18-20psi and have a good amount of timing which should give you a good deal of power after peak tq and as the boost starts falling off.

right but when does it start producing what lvl of torque like APR has a graph to show this and so does O.CT and the O.CT is putting out 320tq at 2300rpm i know this is prob at the crank but still looking to see where I am at

I can tell you from the butt dyo factorI don't thinkI am at either of thoose levels now

320tq is total BS. Most chips make it around 230-240tq and around 2500-4000rpms.

well if you looked at the link the chart list 320nm torque which calculates back to 238ft/lb and that is at 2300 rpm but that is also the peak and stays flat there then dies off when the hp starts to rise.

here is the APR graph for both 225 and 180 (the 180 charst are wrong and both show HP gains only no torque
http://www.goapr.com/Audi/images/dyno_TT_stage_i.gif

REVO power graphs (have to click on them on the site)

O.CT HP and Torque Graph

ok found the GIAC chart
http://www.giacusa.com/images/tt_180_dyno.jpg

All are about the same. Giac has been shown to be the faster of the stock chips, but as said before, all chips with = psi are going to perform about the same.
