Default clutch choices

hey guys im an s4 guy but my buddy needs anew clutch on his 01 1.8t fwd tt.
i was wondering what kind of clutch he could get thats a little bit better than stock but still like oem? thanks guys

If its basically stock or not to far above, a ECS VR6/g60 upgrade is a good choice. Its like $350 for everything including FW. It holds my 300wtq @3k rather well.

is that a straight bolt on? or is it a more custom thing? my buddy def isnt doing it himself

Its just a strait swap. The nice thing about them is that it increases the stock clutch from 212mm to 228mm. The fw may chatter a little bit (going from dual mass to single mass) but if you have someone with a vagcom cable, an addition 80-100rpms gets rid of it.
