yes, clutches are power limited.

If you grind it and continuously drop it, that will wear it out on a stock turbo quicker. But it will die at some point in time like all wear items.

225tt ~ 260-275ftlbs
180tt ~ 210-220ftlbs

Just basing this off the ecstuning upgrades. Should be a about right, depending on how you drive and miles on the car.

so lets say i have 52k miles on my 180 and ive got a chip so im at about 210ftlbs or torque... How quick with the clutch go??? (Im trying to wear it down so i can get a new one and my parents will help me pay for it seeing as you obviously need a clutch for the car)..... Also, new flywheel a good item to throw in there as well? Im going to go with a stage 2 clutch if that will make much of a difference.

Your car can handle the chip, your driving stlye....maybe not.

What are your goals? HP? etc
You really shouldnt try to kill the clutch or work over your parents (kidding on the parents)
You will need a new flywheel since you really cant resurface a dual mass flywheel. The 14lb single mass will be better since it will be quieter (less chatter than a 7lb).

I was always a big fan of buying a clutch first, even if you dont install it because once a clutch goes out, its nice to have one on hand sitting in your closet for when you want to put it on. I love my SPEC clutch, very little chatter taking off in first can be differnt, not hard but different than with the stock clutch. When in doubt buy a clutch because the OEM one will go out eventually.

You don't have the rotating mass of the dualmass so you need a few more revs to get going
