i was speaking from a 180 point of view, dunno bout u 225 folks might be a different story.

I popped the hood at work this evening after I got off thinking I would replace the hose in the parking lot... I was sadly mistaken. One look at where the hose attached at the bottom, and I knew it was something I would have to do this weekend after the vehicle cooled overnight. With the engine cover off, I still could not see the clamp that attached it at the bottom.
I have a chipped 225 with VTDA and while I can't see it happen, I have a feeling mine is collapsing when I really get on the gas. it wheezes at high acceleration and the power band feels like it plateaus early.

With time and some jackstands its not that hard of an install. Vid of 225 collapsing is on bottom of page.

where the hose connects at the base (big outlet at bottom of hose), is it a hose clamp or a snap ring like the rest of the little hoselettes?
