There is nothing the dealership can do to set the milage correctly on a new cluster?

quattro, only a NEW cluster can be set. Once any cluster has been driven past the 50mi. point, the odometer is locked. Those are words straight from the tech's mouth at one of the dealers near me.

The dealer tech gut lied to you, i just had my cluster reset so it can be done .

on second thought i would most likely have audi or VW do the cluster install and reset the new one cuz it is very handy and usefull --from what i'm read the screen has nothing to do with the ecu or anything like that--its JUST A READ OUT but its up to you
