I'd wait and drop your car first, let it settle for a few days, get a new alignment and then measure with a ruler what spacers you'll need.

I plan on doing the same.
My buddy has a 1.8T GLI with a QTP cutout,the Y-pipeis 3" then goes down to stock.
When its wide open it sounds mean!
