Default convertible top drains

I have a 2002 225hp quattro and am having issues with water getting into the car. The rear window is sealed up so that is not causing the leak. I am getting small amounts of water in the back where the top folds down. I read that there are drain holes for the top but I haven't been able to find them. Does anyone know the location of the drain holes or maybe have pic of them? Thanks.

Drains are located on each side of car just behind door but in the top storage area and straight down. You might want to take it by a top shop and get them to show you; they'll probably even open them up for you at little or no charge. They accumulate leaves etc over time and stop up which can cause your Comfort Control Module to get wet and corrode and short out; $1K later you can have your a/c again and fan motors etc. Good Luck.

You're exactly right. I just got mine out of the shop. $810.00 for the repair.

The dealer suggested I contact my insurance company.

They covered the entire repair under my comprehensive coverage. No deductable.

You've got to be kidding me!! I never thought about it being an insurance claim. Oh well, too late now. Thanks for the info though, I'll certainly keep that in mind for the future.
