for your viewing pleasure...

Apparently quite rare in the US (you didnt know they existed, so I guess that statement would be accurate, so you're on your own.

My car came with a solid roof from the factory. I don't need these silly bolt on ones.... ; )

Guess I'm stuck defending the roadster: It's more fun.

The coupe is stiffer too. You chop the roof off of a car and no matter how much you brace it, it's gonna have cowl shake. I always had the hardtop on my Miata when I had it. It made the difference of being able to park the car with one wheel on the curb and the door opening without hanging or rubbing. I wish the TT Roadster had a hardtop option.
You ever try your miata thing in a TT?

Probably not right?

I own a convertible and can tell you that this is not a problem. The roadster chasis is stiff as hell. You can jack both wheels on 1 side of the car up with the jack right behind front wheel and open/close the door with ease.

I never understood having a convertible with a hardtop. They're ugly, cumbersome to store and remove, and that TT one weighs 77lbs. The beauty of the ragtop is the flexability. There's none of that with the hardtop. The only advantage would be better security. You might as well have a coupe. I had a 61 Corvette stolen basically for the rare hardtop, so my experience with them may be tainted.

No,he did do it...

He has posted some pics of other mods where you can see it, but no detailed shots that focus on the targa top cuts,or finishing. [>:]
