Window tinting is now a $100 ticket on top of the fix it because people were getting the $10 ticket taking off the tint then putting it back on. Sorry to hear that.

I'm sorry for your ticket Mark. I can't imagine your car without the Lamin-X and and un-tinted.

Last time I saw the sign, the penalty fee was something like $350

Wow, when I went to Cali, nobody got ticketed for driving like an idiot in front of cops and I saw numerous cars with tails tinted black and windows that looked opaque...they have to bust you don't they[:@]

Years ago... about 1991 I got busted for window tint in my 84' Quattro sedan in SF. The cop gave me the option to peel it off right there or take a $175 ticket. I was pissed as sh*t.
OH is pretty mellow about tint. Both my TT & my S4 have fairly dark tint and so far no one has bothered me. If I do get popped I will just have the side windows redone in a lighter tint. I didn't want the dark tint on either car. The tint shops were out of the light tint each time I went for my windows. They don't normally carry it because everyone wants dark tint. I hate it at night. Eventually both the TT & S4 will get redone with lighter tint.
