Default In-Dash DVD

I have a Clarion motorized in-dash dvd sitting in my kitchen causeI can't imagine that even if you remove the aluminum stereo cover that it would clear the dashboard.I saw someone elseon here that listed one in their sig. Can I fit this thing in? The stock tape player just ain't cutting it.

downside is that unless you have a kenwood, you most likely wont be able to close the aluminum cover. with the kenwoods you can. i've had the alpine, pionner and kenwood units.

Does anyone find that it restricts the A/C flow??

Cause I live in the Middle East so its kinda a huge issue for me.... My A/c is in constant use lol

I went to the South Florida Get Togetherthis weekend and saw a TT with an in-dash but it was really bad. The guy fabricated (if that is what you want to call it) a piece of plastic that didn't fit in great and had his in-dash was left hanging out a bit. I am looking for an option a little better than that.foxrcng11 what did you do? Is it a kit or custom?

yes.... most all of it lol... it was fine for me though through the winter (minnesota = -20) you just rely more on the side vents... id turn the center two off and it would just blow harder to the side ones

the only thing i dont really like about it is that the lights and background for cd playing is blue and the rest of the car is red... i have a creative zen portable media player that has a video out so through that i can set sweet backgrounds and play music all through that so thats fun.... i can get more pics and such if needed

well if the screen is in FRONT OF THE VENTS don't ya think it would restrict airflow somewhat? seriously what kind of question is that?
