Default Dealers

Just leased a 2008 2.0 Roadster, turning in a Mazda MX-5. All my cars for sometime have been BMW's or Japanese, with generally great dealer service. What is up with Audi dealers or did I just get a bad one.My car was delivered dirty with damage to the paint. Is this normal of Audi quality and control of dealers? The car is now back at the dealer for repairs. Any suggestions or similar experiences.

I've yet to find a helpful or even neutral audi dealer... I've been to two, and called others and they all seem to be less than what you would expect from a higher end car company.

If you're in an audi to get good service you picked the wrong company. [:@]

It took me 2 hours to get my radio code the other day. Ridiculous.

hyundai has amazing service (i know weird right)... All of the techs are nice, service writers are nice, parts guys are nice, hell even the sales guys are nice.... They go above and beyond to make me happy everytime i am in there. Went to the Audi dealer here and got the feeling they didnt want my business... Dunno. I wouldnt say it is because its an audi dealer. Just depends. When i had my Nissan i hated going to the dealer, they were always ******.

I think it depends where you go, but i've been bimmer dealerships that were really cool and helpful, but ford dealers who were snobs and couldn't give a damn.

I think it depends on where the manager focuses his attention.

Some managers realize that good service = return business, and others just care about one-time profits.

+1 (same thing for any service based business)

yup. But first and last impressions make a HUGE difference... If i have a bad experience it is very unlikely i will ever go there again.

I have a Euro store (VW, Audi, Jag, and Porsche) and i think that helps. I have only been there once for some gaskets and they were prompt and nice. Not to mention someone was on vortex while i was there.

Went to get coolant at a differnt VW dealer and they were quick and nice also.

Since i done nothing but buy parts from them, i havent had any problems. Not to mention since they wont ever touch my car, i never have to worry about them messing it up.
