Did Audi dealer damage my AC compressor?!?!
Took my 05 tt to dealer for some service bc thought they would do they right thing. Rear struts, oil change and AC evac & recharge. My ac was working fine but on 90-95° days was not ice cold. After having my car for 7 days, I got a call saying the expansion valve was leaking after they recharged the system. After reading the paperwork it states after recharge the compressor failed immediately! I had the complete ac system replaced including a flush less than 20,000 miles ago and never had a problem with the compressor or any other component of the ac.
On day 13 I went to pick up my car, turned it on and the compressor was surging on and off (felt like it was going to fall apart) and was blowing hot air! The service advisor handed me the keys and said have a nice day. I still don't have my car or any answers as to what happened.
Please tell me your thoughts on how this could have happened. Too much refrigerant is my guess
