can ac compressor be taken apart?
I have 2 ac compressors, 1 that works like new but has stripped threads where the AC lines connect. The second compressor doesnt work but has great threads for the lines. Is it possible to take the back casing off and switch them? I see 5 or 6 bolts holding the backs on the compressor, is it as easy as that?
