I've heard this same thing about cell phones and pagers.

and MT dew while growing up will make your unit not grow as large. haha
It was the yellow dye in it. but i think it's BS.

I also heard the samething about cell phones...plus it seems everything on the planet gives you cancer now!!! FTW!! Toothpaste has been known to cause cancer!!!

Well don't you guys remember all of the smelly women 2 summers ago?
When it was thought to believe that deodorant caused breast cancer... It doesn't!
Neither does toothpaste, cell phones, or pagers! Excess heat will kill a few sperm cells.
Without going into extreme details, there's an ambient temperature for sperm production.
Like Cincy said hence the reason for the sac. The reduction in sperm isn't permeant, and you young guys will make plenty more!
If you're really concerned, they make these cooling pads to put under your laptop to keep the excess heat off of your lap.
