Do not buy this used Audi TT!
New England - Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York
Folks, I'm just trying to help you out! Please do NOT buy the following 2001 Audi TT below! The VIN is TRUUT28N411035906 and this car is a time bomb!
Why am I bashing this car? Because it used to be mine!
I traded it in back in October. The dealer said "it will go to auction and be sold in a matter of days". Well, I went back to the dealer for a free oil change - and saw it.
No one wants it.
It needs: new brakes ($900), new tires ($800 atleast), new timing belt ($1700 approx), new convertible top motor ($?), probably a new clutch... There's numerous body dings and dents that were unprofessionally fixed by this dealer, resulting in permanently paint damage. The CD changer is jammed/broken. All four rims are extremely scuffed and damaged. There are some electrical qwirks too.
It appears they even broke the bottom lip since I traded it in!
The car is a mess. It lived strong back when I was living in NH and Boston.... but when I moved to CT, it had to go.
Please folks - don't buy this car. I'm trying to be nice to you all and prevent you from making a disasterous move!
