I dont know where you are located but there is a place here in Long Island NY called Suffolk Locksmmiths. They cut my key about a month ago. 30 bucks to cut. You should be able to find a GOOD locksmith in your area. check the local listings as ask them if they do it....

I bought a key fob off ebay then took it to my local locksmith. He cut it, took it outside to the car and programmed it to the car, then I payed him $20.

Call the dealership and ask who they use to cut the keys. A lot of the dealers don't do it themselves.

Wow, I thought you HAD to get it from the dealership because of the programming, etc.

I paid at least $100 bucks to get a 2nd key at the stealership.

I had a key cut by a Local Locksmith In Palm Springs for $40, but you need to have the Dealer program it, and even that service is expensive..... Last Year California passed a law I believe stating that car makers needed to allow locksmiths to do programming, I don't know what happened with that.........

Most locksmiths can cut and program keys these days. I used my local locksmith Manchester to get mine done a few weeks ago. A hell of a lot cheaper than the dealership. Think it's quite common in the UK these days.
