Do you like the way this looks? Mainly the color-keyed wheels **EDIT: which will probably be done on the insides of the spokes, not the face** and blacked-out Audi emblems (not removed)? This is a poorly photoshopped rendition of the subtle changes I plan to make.

Everything looks okay except the wheels, if you are going to color key them do it on the inner edges rather than the flat of the spokes.

Yes, I probably will do that... just easier to show it like that on a low-quality image.

I think it kinda gives it a cheaper look. Something like a Honda, or whatever other cars people do that to. I dont like the colored rims, it give the car a darker look, especially with the front blacked out. The blacked out front might look better with the silver rims. Its just too much black/blue. Im not trying to grill ya, just giving my opinion.

That's what I asked for your opinion!

I'm really into the darks myself, but the wheels are going to be a lot more subtle than they look there.

I love the idea for the rims, color key on the inside of the spokes that is.
Other then that I think it looks good.
Except for the extremely bright background and the white writing on the windshield
Also I think the rims will look a lot better when there are some calipers and rotors in there and not just some black circle!

Here's a better idea of the wheels... these aren't the exact ones, but are the closest that I can find.

how did you black out your audi rings in the front grill?

Im going for a similar look with my denim blue tt. I would like to eventually get gunmetal wheels(maybe some drag wheels, lightweight), but for now I would like to black out my front rings, smoked clear corners, smoked side markers(on their way), window tint, honeycomb rear valence, black or carbon fiber rear lip spoiler extention, and lightly tinted tails.

Well, that's the plan. I've done it with other emblems and grills before... Basically, a quality exterior car paint (I use flat for a metal look similar to a 'Carrera' emblem) with a decent amount of clear over the top. When you're spraying, do very light coats, don't kill it or it will drip and look unprofessional. I'm sure there's info somewhere online for how to do it right

I'm a DIY guy, though... even though I have the money to buy it, I like to be able to say that I did it... just my thing :P
