On sat. Im picking one up for about $500 with 500 miles on it. Before I spent the money, I was wondering if anyone had one and if they liked it or not? Did you actually get the performance out of it. How loud is it. Thanks!!

borla is probably the most popular exhaust around here... either for a4.s s4's or tt's. they sound great, are a bit throaty and deep, there should be some performace (ie like 15hp) from them

I have it on mine too and its got a good grrrrrrrl to it but I dont think its too loud, just loud enough to know its not stock. Im seeling my TT and I showed it today and when I turned on the car without giving it gas, the guy looking to buy goes "sweeeeet".

i have a borla on my 180 and i like it. i don't think it's too loud, actually quieter than most at the local meets here.

 

Now is it a single or dual exhaust? And is it a cat back or is it coming with a down pipe too? Cuz I would try to talk em down from the $500 if its a single and used.

 

I don't have the borla exhaust but I do know it's a cat-back system. I believe they run around the $700-$800 area so I would think $500 for a barely uesed system is pretty good. Plus if you install yourself that would cut back on overall price. But I think that Borla has the best sounding exhaust available, but this is a personal choice also.

 

Especially since you can buy Borla's Single Exhaust (180 version/Catback) from Borla directly for $470. However the Dual Exhaust is $400 MORE!! soo, im def only buying the Single lmao. $400 more for dual tips bah
