These things have mixed reviews half the people love them the other half noticed no difference. I have read that if you are having trouble getting into 2nd gear they can help and they also help wheel hop for the FWD guys.
I have chosen not to purchase one because I haven't had the shifting issues and really do not need the extra cabin vibrations that it can introduce.

The vibration is barely noticable the first few days and gone shortly after. Better traction from a standstill is always a good thing. If you are worried about them being to stiff, the ecs ones are that hard and the 034motorsport street ones may be even softer, yet still stiffer than stock. Plus if you have a 5+ year old and close to 100k miles, your stock ones will be falling apart anyways and should be replaced
Touche cincy, excellent points. My knowledge is only by reading user reviews posted on vortex. So the vibrations people report are exaggerated and will cease over time? My car has enough vibrations with the HR coilovers....I don't need anymore!
As stated I really havent had any issues but to tell you the truth I have never even looked for splits/cracks on the stocker. She is not a daily driver but a garage ***** with 65K for an 01 225.

My vibrations were just enough for me to notice in the steering wheel at idle. I believe it was only a few days before they went away. Plus the gains for me were far beyond the small vibrations. My stocks were falling apart and far gone also. If you already have some vibration, you most likely wouldnt notice them anyways
