Donut / spare tire for 2006 TT
I have a 2006 Audi TT 3.2. (Special edition, baby)
When I had a blowout in February '08, I had the car towed to the dealership but I had to wait 3 days for a new tire because they were out of stock. LOL
What do you guys do? I'm thinking about either (1) getting a donut if I can find one that fits (no luck so far); (2) keeping a full size tire in the trunk; or (3) keeping a full size rim / tire in the trunk.

the 3.2's don't have a spare? Weird.
What I do is get angry, and drive anyway. Ha. Well, last winter I hit a pothole and blew out a tire, and 3 days later, hit a pothole in a different part of town and bent the spare rim. I was fuming. Said 'screw it, its only a steelie' and drove the 4 miles back to the apartment on a flat tire/bent rim.

^ kudos !!! If you dont mind the added weight I'd get a full size spare to match. I have a feeling with my car being so low and the way I drive I'm gonna need a spare at the least !!! "hinting at my thread" LOL
I forgot to mention: It's a convertible.
I don't think a regular size tire will not fit in the trunk. And there is no donut available as far as I can tell. Any advice?
God, I wish I could use run flat tires. . . . .
