Default downpipe needed

I bought a 2000 1.8 Quattro TT 180hp model about 1 week ago and yesturday my exhaust got really loud , turns out the mesh in the down pipe has a hole . I have looked everywhere for a replacement but cannot find one. I would like one that I could just bolt right up. The downpipes I find online have one Flange on turbo side and one flange on cat side. The downpipe I have has one flange on turbo side and two connecting to the cat. I would like to get something to replace it with out involving any welding.

Anyhelp would be appreciated

Thanks Andrew

If you have a 225 you can get a bolt on downpipe from 42dd.

If anyone knows where I can get a full new exhaust system down pipe included that would be fine too.

Thanks Andrew

Your only sources will be from the dealer or from a wrecking yard. On the other hand you could have one custom fabricated for you. Unfortuneatly there is no aftermarket downpipe for the 180 Quattro.

Will a FWD downpipe work if I attach it to a different catalitic converter?

No, the 180 Quattro is unique. The FWD shares the same DP as the Jetta. We 180 Quattro owners are pretty much SOL at this point.

a custom one is the way to go. order some flanges and take it to the muffler shop. shouldnt be to tough or costly at a decent muffler shop.

If only we knew a TIG welder that has EXTENSIVE knowledge on/has owned the 180(in silver) and 225(in desert green).
Maybe we could get them to work on a 180Q downpipe.... Anyone know somebody like this?

Hehe, I wasn't aware that you are a TIG welder!! I was thinking about another member (achTTung).
Maybe the two of you could get together and work on something! I'm sure it would become a very profitable endeavor!
